Privacy notice

Last updated 7 October 2026. This notice covers the DriveRep waitlist.

Who we are

DriveRep is an early-stage project run by its founding team (“we”). We decide how the personal data described here is used and are responsible for it. Contact us at hello@driverep.app.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

• your email address;
• which site you joined from (DriveRep or Off-Peak Club) and which form you used;
• the site’s language (international or UK English);
• the time you gave consent, and whether you have confirmed your address.

That is all. The waitlist does not ask for your name, and we don’t store your IP address, location or device details with it. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; we don’t use it to identify you.

Why we use it

Only to email you about DriveRep’s launch and pilots. Our legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Before we send any updates, we’ll ask you to confirm your address, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Who else handles it

Two service providers process the data for us, under contract and on our instructions: Supabase, which hosts the database in London, and Vercel, which hosts this website and runs our sign-up code in its London region. We don’t sell your email address or share it with anyone else, including the insurers, councils and other partners we work with.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If DriveRep hasn’t launched within two years of your sign-up, we delete it then.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing hello@driverep.app. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Driving data

The waitlist is completely separate from driving data. When the DriveRep app is available it will have its own privacy notice, and waitlist details will never be combined with driving data.
